Potato Head presents Three Buns Quayside: The new burger shack we've been waiting for
For close to 10 years now, Potato Head has been a household name and a long-standing symbol of success. In Bali, a bustling beach club packed with a healthy crowd of tourists and expats; in Hong Kong, an eclectic hideout of authentic Indonesian grub and an alluring music room for audiophiles; and in Singapore, a four-storey art deco shophouse on Keong Saik Road that most millennials call their second home.
Part of its foolproof formula comes down to Potato Head Singapore's signature burgers from Three Buns. Sure, we're there for the whimsical sculptures, vibin' playlist, but what would the experience be without their deftly seasoned patties, unami sauces and pillowy buns? That's a scary thought.
Now, those cult-favourite burgers are having their own moment — with Three Buns' first ever restaurant at Quayside. The new home features a newly curated menu with exclusive burger combinations and popular signatures, along with tropical cocktails and hearty rice bowls. Unlike any other frivolous franchise, Three Buns Quayside will be helmed by executive chef Adam Penney, who's known globally for creating the famed burgers from scratch. True to any Potato Head brainchild, the 88-seater will be fashioned in upcycled interiors and sustainably made furniture crafted by artisans in Surabaya.
What's on the menu? Look forward to the likes of coconut buns, beef rendang, and condiments of watermelon relish and bawang goreng (fried shallots). Doors officially open on 4 September — we say get in there and get messy.
