Perrier-Jouët's new limited edition cuvée basks in the beauty of Japanese autumn
Nature is an endless source of inspiration, and the cellars of Perrier-Jouët attest to this fact. In a nod to what Mother Nature has to offer, Perrier-Jouët's limited edition Belle Epoque Edition Automne 2005 champagne turns towards autumn in Japan for inspiration in more ways than one.
Bottling the autumnal colours of Japan, the Belle Epoque Edition Automne 2005 blushes in a radiant deep pink with a fine ribbon of bubbles crowning its garnet and copper shades. Featuring a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, the cuvée charms with rich fruity notes of raspberries, wild strawberries, and hints of spice and cream on the nose. Take a sip of this blushing pink champagne to discover overtones of white peach, confit of orange, and hints of cocoa beans lingering on a rounded finish.
Hervé Deschamps, chef de caves of Perrier-Jouët and the man behind this cuvée, muses of his enthralling creation, "The richness of the 2005 vintage inspired me to create this cuvée in tribute to autumn's allure and vitality as a way of savouring the beauty of an ephemeral season."
