Singapore's very first Michelin-starred restaurants

We have a three-starred restaurant and two hawker stalls that garnered a star each

With an arsenal of 25 guides spanning 24 countries, the Michelin Guide today has far surpassed its humble beginnings as a directory for motorists looking for a quick meal or warm bed to lay their heads. This evening, the lauded food bible revealed its 2016 star ratings for Singapore, adding restaurants and two hawker stalls on our Little Red Dot to the constellation of culinary heavyweights the world over.

Speculations over the results have been rife to say the least. As the launch date of the guide drew near, we couldn't resist polling some of Singapore's top chefs on their thoughts and predictions for the restaurants likely to make the cut. How did their forecast measure up? Below, a look at the restaurants that'll no doubt see reservations going through the roof over the next few months.
