It's still Chinese New Year. Add a touch of this auspicious hue to your everyday cup of coffee — with the healthy addition of beetroot. Nespresso tastemaker Jeff Law (@yewwooi) has a delightful red velvet recipe to share this season. One thing's for sure, this cuppa's bound to be an instant crowd-pleaser.
Red Velvet Coffee: Here's what you need
1 Arpeggio Capsule
80ml Milk
5 units Cane Syrup
40ml Beetroot Juice
2ml Vanilla Extract
50ml Whipped Cream
5ml Chocolate
Red Velvet Coffee: How to make it
1. Add sugar syrup, chocolate, vanilla and beetroot juice into a cappuccino cup.
2. Extract one Nespresso Arpeggio capsule into a cup using a Nespresso coffee machine.
3. Add milk into the Aeroccino milk frother and make a cappucino froth. Add milk foam into the cup.
4. Garnish with whipped cream and mandarin zest. Stir well and enjoy.
