How to make a mushroom latte with date syrup

There are more than a few ways to spruce up your Nespresso morings. With food stylist Bella Koh's blessing, try adding mushrooms. You won't just be reaping a slew of health benefits as these shrooms are said to be rich in antioxidants as well as immunity boosting. In line of Chinese New Year, Koh's recipe includes a dash of five spice powder into your everyday cuppa.

Serves 1

Mushroom latte with five spice powder: Here's what you need

1 Nespresso Arpeggio capsule
45ml Plant-based Milk
1 tspn Date Syrup or Date Sugar
1/2 tspn Chaga Mushroom Powder ·
1 dash of Five Spice Powder ·
A slice of shaved Dried Porcini or Shiitake Mushroom as garnish
Lunggo Cup
Aeroccino Milk Frother

Mushroom latte with five spice powder: How to make it

1. Add date syrup, five spice powder and mushroom powder into glass and extract 1 Nespresso Arpeggio (40ml, Espresso size) on top.
2. Heat and froth milk using Aeroccino milk frother and pour to the top of your cup.
3. Garnish with dried mushroom.
