Gelato and ice cream places that open till late: Burnt Cones, Hay Gelato, Lickers and more
Up all night
The worst thing to hear when you are just about to take the first bite off your ice cream cone is "Last order please, we are closing in ten". A gut kicker when you clearly had plans for a second scoop and perhaps a cheeky waffle. After all, dessert should never be a rushed affair.
Now with Phase 3 kicked in, there is more than enough reason to catch up with friends over desserts to make up for, umm, lost time while practising safe distancing. Lucky for us. there's been a renaissance of late night ice cream spots — some with a weekday operation till 2am. No need to rush, you'll make it just in time even after a three-hour dinner. Sleep can certainly wait.
