Because F&B insiders know best

These days I'm busy with building a new ship called Yonder and understanding my entrepreneurial journey.

A hawker stall I would queue for would be anything along the lines of bomb ass porridge or briyani.

I'm a regular at E-Sarn Thai Corner, Tori Tama or any of Travis Maseiro's restaurants. At Tori Tama, you can't leave without trying the flat provolone and will never go wrong with any sticks ordered. When you're at Blue Label Pizza, the artichoke spinach dip is a must and if you manage to squeeze into Nixta, don't look past the Aguachile or the Duck Barbacoa.

When I need to eat clean, there's no place better than Grain Traders. My go-to order is quinoa, salmon, or char siu jackfruit, all the pickles and chili peanuts!

My favourite bar in Singapore is La Terre Wine Bar.

An underrated restaurant in my opinion is Lagnaa Barefoot Dining. Best butter chicken in my opinion, although the portions could be bigger.

My guilty pleasure is ice cream with a lot of almonds or burnt cheesecake.

My go-to supper spot is Sin Hoi Sai. Sizzling tofu plate, cereal prawns, vegetable fried rice and three fresh coconuts. What else do you need?

For weekend brunch with friends, nothing beats being at home.

The best place to get a meal with seafood is East Coast Seafood Centre. Anything with black pepper on it, black pepper all day.

For special occasions, I head to Shinji or Luke's Oyster Bar.

My all-time favourite restaurant is Mozza by Nancy Silverton in LA. This is an institution — simplicity and love, which adds up to longevity.
