How to make a black sesame mocha
Sipping on a cup of coffee in the morning might be a familiar ritual to you, to the point that it actually becomes mundane. Where's the fun in all that? Coffee can be made experimental as well. If you're looking to break out of your typical Nespresso espresso, here's a great recipe for a nutty black sesame mocha to liven up your dreary mornings. Crafted by food stylist, Bella Koh, this creation infuses sweet local flavours into Nespresso's finest capsules. Bleak mornings will never be the same again.
Black Sesame Mocha: Here's what you need
1 Envivo Lungo Grand Cru
220ml Soy Milk
1 tbpsn Black Sesame Powder
1/2 tpsn Cacao Powder
1 tbspn Gula Melaka
Black Sesame Mocha: How to make it
1. Place the cacao powder and gula melaka at the bottom of the glass.
2. Extract the Envivo Lungo with a Nespresso machine, over the cacao powder and gula melaka.
3. Mix the black sesame powder with soy milk and prepare the mixture in Nespresso's Aeroccino milk frother.
4. Pour the frothed soy milk mixture and froth over the coffee.
