It’s time to get messy with the best burgers in town

The big chow down

Forget the diet. It's time to indulge

You can try to resist, but who can say no to juicy, delicious beef patties, piled high with melted cheese and onions, and clasped between two buns? A good burger should not only have a top-shelf patty, it should also pay attention to the buns and everything else that goes in between. Grab some napkins and get ready to tackle some of the best burgers in town.

Everything about boCHINche ties back to Chef Diego Jacquet's Argentinian roots. It's no surprise then that the burger to sink your teeth into is the Chimichurri Burger v 2.0. Piled with provolone cheese, grilled tomatoes, caramelised onions and the classic Argentinian Chimichurri sauce, the burger gets better with a juicy patty made from ground rib-eye steak mixed with bone marrow. On the side, you'll find a side of delicious chips provenzal, essentially fat chips tossed with garlic and parsley.

db Bistro Moderne

The next time you're at Marina Bay Sands, drop by db Bistro Moderne to try the db burger by chef Daniel Boulud. And when Boulud does burgers, he does burgers. The patty itself is filled with braised short ribs and foie gras. Two Parmesan buns join the party to lend that extra burst of flavour.

Potato Head Folk

Head to the Potato Head Folk's Three Buns outlet for truly artisanal burgers and wash it down with their homemade sodas and cocktails. They don't just serve up trendy environs, they make sure everything, from their buns to their sauces, are made in-house. Order up Da Cheese Master burger, a classic take on the traditional cheese burger that features plenty of melted cheese and caramelised onions.

Third & Sixth

This two-year-old bistro is what you would call a hidden gem. Taking inspiration from the '90s, it serves good food and drinks for those looking to simply kick back and hang with a few friends. Head down over the weekend and you will see a host of regulars digging into the menu. Of all their burgers, an undisputed favourite is the Messy Mexican. As its name suggests, things do get messy. Generous servings of chilli con carne and melted cheese sit proudly atop the patty. Sandwiched between a sesame seed bun, it is accompanied by a hearty serving of fries, though you can opt for truffle fries if you're feeling indulgent.
