Table Tales: The food book detailing a curated list of restaurants in Singapore
It is written
The Michelin Guide book might already have a strong footing in swaying the minds and appetites of gourmands in Singapore, but this is an alternative edit to the highly acclaimed recognition. For the most part, Table Tales takes a humbler approach.
Now in its fourth edition, the guide book documents ten chosen dining destinations; each handpicked for its lasting impression on book owners and founders of EATSingapore, Karin van Vliet and Peter Ulrich. This curated list was the result of the duo sampling and visiting over 50 restaurants in Singapore. No sponsored content, no advertisements but you'll find honest, delectable stories conceived from every experience at the restaurants.
There's more. With a copy of the book, make it known that you're a Table Tales patron when you dine at any of the ten establishments. Then bring the hard copy along to enjoy a complimentary main course or a discount off set menus. You can also get the Chef de Cuisine to sign off on your book afterwards. More than just a guidebook and recommendations, the idea is for patrons to clock up stories of their own with the list of restaurants; whether it be engaging with the chefs or discovering new dishes that weren't covered in the copy. It's the headstart for you to get out there in our city's veritable dining scene.
