On our lust list: This evian bottle designed by Alexander Wang
Life in mono
Step aside, coconut water. Water is back in vogue
Last year, Alexander Wang collaborated with H&M to produce a collection that saw snaking lines trailing H&M stores the world over. The bon vivant then turned to furniture design by teaming up with Italian design company Poltrona Frau to roll out a three-piece capsule collection (leather beanbag chairs, anyone?). This time around, Wang has taken to the drawing board to reskin the iconic evian bottle, making him the ninth fashion designer to partner with evian on the design front. Other designers that have lent their imagination to redressing the evian bottle include Elie Saab, Christian Lacroix, Issey Miyake, and Jean-Paul Gauthier.
Wang's limited edition evian bottle comes in two monochromatic variations that flirt with the brand's barcode logo — a nod towards the purity of the French brand's spring water.
This collaborative bottle will be available in 33cl and 75cl glass bottles from selected hotels, cafes, restaurants and premium supermarkets.
