A little brutal honesty here, now bear with me. Walking into this place felt like we stepped into an Australian Influencer's ig post. 3 girls in white boho prairie skirts were sitting on the lawn with perfectly placed pillows, taking photos. They and other patrons obviously dressed for the 'gram.

Indeed, the winery owner's wife is a popular Instagrammer and transformed what was a junkyard into a selfie paradise. But I've become a cynic (look at me in all black ), and the looming rainstorm reflected my initial impression.

Oh how my eyes roll whenever food and drink are made primarily to look good for Instagram; it typically lacks any substance or flavor. To top it off, our sommelier brightly told us our dinner was vegetarian and gluten free, and some other diet marketing hotwords.... Sounds like more Instagram inedible food.

Turns out, I was dead WRONG. It ended up being one of the best meals on this 8 day Roadtrip. I wiped the platter clean it was a delicious spread of roast root vegetables, eggplant dip, homemade crackers, cheeses that @justin_bratton @elvinafarkas and I pretty much inhaled. And the wines? I loved all 5 we tasted and would have bought a bottle each if Singapore didn't have a limit! I ended up purchasing a bottle of their gorgeous Rose.

I'm coming back next time, though I'm sure it'll be incredibly popular and difficult to book this new spot very soon. And you can bet that I'll be wearing that Instagram-life outfit. Now I wish we took more photos.

Check out their ig @downtherabbitholewines. I'd have to say Justin and I made a valiant attempt at the insta moment here, but something isn't quite right still. We are not worthy.
