Does my life look perfect? As a working mom, I really don t get to spend as much time with my boys as it appears. I have to choose quality time over quantity time, and that s why we travel. Behind the scenes (and the smiles), we all go through challenges and battles no one else sees. So be kind always - you never know what someone else is going through, just because they look strong on the outside, doesn t mean they aren t struggling on the inside. Anyway, slightly melancholic post, as my anxiety is mounting over Tyler starting P1 next year, his dyslexia, possible dyspraxia, his insecurity and fear of bullying - it s all taken a mental toll on me, while going through a busy work season and trying to put together something bigger than fashion week next year, working on a new campaign for @lifebeyondgrades , organising a charity campaign with @crib_society today, a fundraising trip with @operationhopefoundation working on getting a book for kids published with @dyslexiasg and dealing with personal issues beyond my control. Sometimes we have to tell ourselves it s ok not to be ok, this too shall pass. Happy Thursday, folks (and no, I m really not on holiday anymore. It s just photos and happy memories on Instagram) Meantime, I ll focus on the silver lining - that I m creating a life of positivity and impact, I have a great team running with me and that business is thriving @mercurysocial #staypositive #grateful
