Bucket hats were the biggest street style accessory at fashion week: See them on Caroline Daur, Suzuki twins, etc
Under cover
Hats are an accessory many would gladly pass over in fear of ruining their perfect blowouts. We know we have in the past. At fashion week, however, the street style set donned them loud and proud, risking awful hat hair in exchange for extra sartorial coins. Some made their bucket the centrepiece. They often shone through preppy get-ups and flirty, feminine silhouettes, while others used them to highlight streetwear and utilitarian uniforms. The bravest of them walked on the side of big logos, houndstooth (!), and that ubiquitous Dior Teddy D veiled titfer as the crowning finish to their slick ensembles.
