Is the in-house label from Dami Kwon's multi-brand boutique Rare Market streetwear's best kept secret?
G-Dragon's fashion undertakings are hardly classified. This, you know by now: His clothing label PEACEMINUSONE sells out minutes after each drop hits the web and his eclectic personal style has earned him Chanel's favour — a house notorious for cherry picking a very, very elite crew of male personalities to associate with (Pharrell, the other). What's still, somewhat, under wraps is his sister Dami Kwon's multi-label store Rare Market in Gangnam — co-owned with longtime friend Jessica Jung — that boasts an on-the-pulse selection rivalling the likes of Seoul's 10 Corso Como. But even lesser known, is Rare Market's in-house label We11done.
Of which, its on-trend yet unpretentious first impression the oversized hoodies, longsleeve T-shirts, plaid button downs, and denim give off, find absolute harmony with its name. They're simple garments, nothing more or less, but "done we11" — stylised with the number '11' as a nod to the boutique's team. And while We11done has been Seoul's best kept secret since its brick-and-mortar entrance on Rare Market racks early in 2016, the inception of its e-shop and, most recently, the label's exclusive launch on Net-a-Porter.com, will soon change that.
