Tommy Jeans spotlights up-and-coming musicians, relives the '90s with bucket hats and bum bags
Going for gold
Oh, the '90s. What we'd give to return to such simple days where an anthem from the golden boybands could define our idea of love. The ownership of vaguely "American" or "European" garments, in itself a grail; repping anything from Tommy Hilfiger was a free pass to humble brag. Then, it is no wonder that the brand's casualwear and denim line Tommy Jeans has made it a habit of rehashing said golden decade. Summer 2018 takes nautical cues.
The return of iconic Tommy sailing jackets nail a throwback day-glo hue, and its logo takes on the shape of a flag on jumpers and denim jackets. The walk down memory lane continues via bum bags, bucket hats, dungaree dresses, light wash denim jeans and, the revival of a 1997 Tommy sneaker. All fronted by musicians and '90s kids Paloma Ford, Salma Slims, IAMDDB and Jelani Blackman above.
Available online and at select Tommy Hilfiger and Tommy Jeans stores worldwide from 9 May.
