Retrosuperfuture’s Singaporean takeover is underway, with its first popup at Gallery & Co.
The kind of invasion we welcome.
Retrosuperfuture has landed in Singapore with an intent to conquer: fashion-wise, that is (they've promised to not go full Raffles on us). The Italian eyewear brand's first popup, at Gallery & Co. within the Singapore's National Gallery, was designed with its current exhibition, Minimalism: Space. Light. Object. in mind. The entire space features gradients of royal blue to black and floor-to-ceiling mirrors — presumably for assessing how glasses frame the entire body, as opposed to just the face — and is sure to draw in the camera-happy crowd.
There may be 50-odd styles to choose from, but buyers can be assured that every Italian-made pair of Retrosuperfuture specs offers quality eye protection, with lenses sourced from ZEISS and Barberini. Exclusive to RSF's Gallery & Co. popup is its Iconic line, designed in partnership with the The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. With a shape derived from Andy Warhol's own preferred pair, the Iconic is available in five colour combinations spanning lavender and pink to deep bottle green and tortoiseshell.
