Shopping alert: PS by Paul Smith collection has arrived
One for the boys
After a successful first season, PS by Paul Smith, the designer's contemporary line, is back with an all new spring/summer 2017 collection. Inspired by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, the collection is luxury performance personified — think technical fabrics and ergonomic cuts for the urban cazh-performance wear, all emblazoned with the freshly designed bold circular logo by Fergus Purcell.
Take a peek at our top 10 favourites:
This season’s key print — palm leaves with vibrant cockatiel — got us dreaming about beach bodies and piña coladas. Numerous tropical details take a life on their own on the outerwear (they are mostly amorphous and unstructured) and shirts (clean, crisp, with adorable watermelon embroidery) and they even make surprise appearances within the lining of separates.
Also, note the tribute to the Land of the Rising Sun on the back of the revamped version on the classic ‘sukajan’ silk souvenir jacket. The tailored blouson shape with shirt collar, cuffs and hem... Want.
