Sacai's exclusive capsule collection with Net-a-Porter has arrived

Easy does it

Sacai's exclusive capsule collection with Net-a-Porter has arrived
We make a case for why this is one Sacai collection you will wear again and again and again...

Known for her floaty construction and hybrid garments, Chitose Abe of Sacai designed an exclusive collection for Net-a-Porter. Having worked at Comme des Garçons under Rei Kawakubo for 8 years as a pattern cutter before forming her own label in 1998, Abe is a prime example of the Comme effect, reinventing classics and transforming recognisable clothing archetypes into unexpected new combinations.

However, for Net-a-Porter, she takes her experimental tendencies down a notch, opting to dial 's' for simplicity instead in order to highlight her garments' most elementary details. Injecting her signature part-sport luxe, part-bad girl aesthetic with a touch of haute couture, Abe brings forth 16 pieces everyone from a fangirl to a novice will appreciate.

The bandana neck drawstring tunic is one of those tops you'll wrestle on whether to save for work or the weekend (#firstworldproblems); the hoody-poplin shirt cross-pollination is boyish as is with straight leg trousers, but belt it barely buttoned with a wool mini skirt and it'll be the date night get-up neither you or your companion will soon forget.

Alongside the limited edition capsule, Sacai bags are available globally online for the very first time. Gracing the spot is a unique navy double clip hobo purse with double straps, as modelled far above.

Available worldwide from 23 March 2017 on Net-a-Porter.
