Prada grails: Iconic prints from past collections you can score today
Like great music, impressionable fashion iconography never really fades. Be it a print, a silhouette or a rare collaboration item, the physical pieces are cherished in the private collections of brand fanatics, then eventually (read: hopefully) passed on to their next caretaker. They make the history books that educate fashion's next generation, and wind up on Pinterest boards of fledgling collectors determined to score on Grailed. But sometimes, they also re-enter the runway. Such is the case for Prada fall 2018 menswear.
As the third most recognisable trope from the brand (thanks to every Prada-obsessed fashion editor ever) and, hot off the trails of those nylon backpacks and black saffiano leather wallets, prints are the icons in question. Ones arguably so good, a second hurrah was in order. These were first released in collections spanning the last three decades, and reissued today as a pastiche for fresh perspective. That's right, a fashion version of a mixtape. The rundown? Nine prints and four camp-collar shirts spanning six seasons.
