Obey collaborates with Never Made on graphic tees, to drop with a Singapore raffle for the artist's prints
Art for the wardrobe
As a counterpart of artist and Obey's founder Shepard Fairey, Reyes' work is in a similar vein. They both speak out about social issues, delve into political waters, and are served up with an occasional side of humour. Better known as Never Made, three of the latter's such graphics take centrestage in a tie-up with Obey as part of the streetwear brand's Artist Series.
Never Made's 'Passion', 'Wall of Death' and 'Land of Opportunity' adorn the front, back and sleeves of T-shirts that are to land in Singapore tomorrow, along with prints to purchase and raffle for at Habitual. Three 18" by 18" 'Wall of Death' screenprints are up for grabs, numbered as part of a 100 piece run and, signed by Reyes himself.
Obey x Never Made tees available at Tangs Orchard, Alcoholiday, BStore Cathay, Sup Clothing and Star360 in Singapore from 24 May.
Prints available at Habitual, 38 Hamilton Road, with the raffle taking place in store on 24 May.
