NikeLab ACG's latest collection is designed to trump the summer heat
Too hot to handle
Some of us have the proclivity to strip back the layers when the mercury rises, simply because it's both a simple and logical solution. And while we hardly see fault in such paring-back, it is also our duty to spotlight alternative propositions. This one, by way of NikeLab ACG.
As the lifestyle giant's division that drills down on absolute functionality while maintaining a stylish quotient, the summer 2018 collection is clear in its purpose: to regulate heat, to protect from external elements, and to look great while doing it. Led by Errolson Hugh, co-founder of the equally function-focused label, ACRONYM, breathability and hardiness are championed throughout the range.
It manifests in the Gore-Tex material on men's and women's jackets (with detachable sleeves to boot), fleece hoodies spliced with mesh to regulate heat, and unisex cargo trousers designed with a wearer's movement as priority.
