Milanese label Marcelo Burlon is now available on Orchard Road
For five months only
If the name Marcelo Burlon doesn't ring a bell, a glimpse of the Milan-based designer's wares probably will. Endorsed by the jet-set fashion pack that populate the street style feeds, Burlon's animal graphics, gothic typography and subculture hieroglyphs have been a mainstay in the Milan circuit — and now, they're set to infiltrate Singapore's style set courtesy of multi-label store Surrender that's behind the five month pop-up.
Opening their doors with the SS17 menswear collection — a streetwear and utilitarian-led hybrid juxtaposed with the soft tailoring of robes — in Burlon's habitual monochrome, this season's graphics take inspiration from Japan's ninja heritage and the worlds beyond our galaxy. Also available at the temporary store are accessories such as socks and phone covers — all brazenly imbued with the label's distinctive codes.
The Marcelo Burlon pop-up store is located at Mandarin Gallery, #02-16. Open now till April 2017.
