Step inside Louis Vuitton's fresh, new digs at Ngee Ann City
It's hard to recall a time when Ngee Ann City stood tall without Louis Vuitton flanking its façade. For two decades, the directional French maison has brought the buzz to the mall's atrium with its futuristic window displays and deluxe finishings. With a fresh, new face just in time for 2017, its only designed to get better from here.
Accoutred in the calming neutrals of oak with gold leaf, straw marquetry and hand-knotted carpets native to Nepal, the renovated interior sees luxe and heritage elements coming together in harmony — laying out a cohesive space that's a podium to Nicolas Ghesquière's experimental collections. Stimulating the visual senses are artworks by contemporary duo Lonneke Gordijn and Ralph Nauta of Studio Drift, photographer Michael Brunn and Iranian artist Farhad Moshiri, bringing a sense of undulated charm to picture perfection.
