Louis Vuitton's first duplex boutique at Changi Airport: A jet-setter's port of call
If we're to be brutally honest, duty-free boutiques tend to pale in comparison to a brand's main locations. It's fuss-free. Minimalistic. Designed to just about satisfy the shopper breezing in and out, hurried so as not to miss their flight. Louis Vuitton's first Southeast Asian airport boutique couldn't be anymore different.
Located at Changi Airport Terminal 3's Crystal Garden, the double-storey store was conceived to whisk those who enter into the belly of Vuitton. "Flying machines" and monogram trunks suspended above whisper of its travel beginnings; leather-lined tables nod at the ways they've come with their exquisite leather-work and coveted accessories; the towering LED screen bordering its entrance, a constant reminder of the brand's fascination with technology. Conceived, to house a travel-skewed range spanning ready-to-wear, accessories, leather goods, watches and fragrances for both men and women.
At the rear, a staircase leads up to its second floor intended for exhibitions. For the boutique's opening, it is furnished with archival antiques that tell the story of Louis Vuitton's longtime dedication to aviation. A fitting homecoming for an inaugural airport boutique in our region.
Louis Vuitton is located at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3, L2, Departure Transit Hall. Purchases are duty-free.
