Refined essentials

Everyday casualwear redefined for you and I

Starting out as a quirky lifestyle shop in the backstreet of Hong Kong, Kapok is now introducing their very own fashion label. Aptly named, Future Classics makes known the very essence of Kapok through clean, contemporary classics.

The peculiar yet fun-loving style of the wunderkind is clear to see right from the get-go, especially with the lookbook modeled by Kapok's own employees. Focusing on fabrics, silhouettes and details, the humble hanger incorporated on the logo of Future Classics is a reflection of what the brand dreams its pieces to be — staples which will always be returned to.

Tailored especially for Asian body types, there's no one better to trust than the Hong Kong label that has its roots planted firmly right here. The gender-free label boasts Japanese and technical fabrics — so expect only high quality fabrics and subtle design details à la chic minimalism. The first collection of Future Classics see everyday basics such as tees, denim with a show of selvedge, button down shirts and the playful logo splayed across select pieces. And, with true Asian know-how after a decade of living with the tropical climate, the apparel is equipped to tide one through even the sunniest of days with comfortable and breathable material.

Future Classics will be available in Kapok at National Design Centre from 15th July. Prices range from $89 to $179.
