The fashion boutiques to shop at Jewel Changi Airport: Nike, Uniqlo, In Good Company and more
Singapore aside, does any other nation in the world take as much pride in her airports? We have plenty to boast about when it comes to Changi Airport, including solid design, efficiency levels our competitors can only dream of, and an Aladdin's cave of food, retail and self-care experiences.
The newly-opened Jewel Changi Airport — which clearly aims high with its jewel-in-the-crown nomenclature — will no doubt deliver like its predecessors, but what exactly will it offer? We've got you covered, fashion-wise at least, with our roundup of the clothing and accessories retailers setting up shop in Singapore's newest tourist attraction.
The activewear giant's Jewel Changi Airport digs will be its largest in Southeast Asia, and will stock the most extensive range of the brand's wares in the region. Shoppers can also avail themselves of a Nike By You customisation service, to stand out from the crowd.
Boss's streetwear-focused sibling will be commemorating the launch of its Jewel Changi Airport outlet with its signature, reversed-text personalisation service, this time on limited edition sweatshirts.
Japan's most ubiquitous fashion export is decking out its premises with a dedicated corner for UT, its hit line of pop culture-inspired tees; an early launch of the Marvel x Jason Polan collection will even take place on opening day. New York-based artist Polan will be holding sketching workshops at Jewel Changi Airport on 19 April, and at Uniqlo Orchard Central on 20 April (click here to register).
IN GOOD COMPANY
In addition to its popular ready-to-wear and lifestyle goods, In Good Company's space will also sell drugs... Oh, pardon us, did we say drugs? We meant gelato — from homegrown producers Birds of Paradise — but close enough.
Sorry, tweens and tots, but at Jewel Changi Airport, Seed Heritage will be for grownups only; the Australian label's store is its first womenswear-exclusive outlet, so... Go cry about it or something (disclaimer: please don't).
Do you frequently endure unprecedentedly long layovers, or simply like traveling — fashion police be damned — in your 'jammies? Well, this Spanish underwear expert, sleepwear specialist, and Inditex cousin of Zara has you covered.
If ever you find yourself with a hankering for spanking-new, premium denim moments before your flight, Evisu will be there for you. The Japanese label's is finally re-entering the Singaporean market, and its boutique will feature British-style wood interiors that hark back to '60s Japan's Anglophilia.
SKECHERS AND MARK NASON LOS ANGELES X SKECHERS
Sneaker brand Skechers will occupy a two-storey boutique at Jewel Changi Airport, but its collab with shoe designer Mark Nason will have its own standalone space.
