The e-commerce colossus inducts the fashion wunderkind for a no holds barred alternative edit

For the past few seasons, fashion's wandering eye has trained upon on a certain young, French designer in Paris — a 26-year-old whose pièce de résistance is the ability to recast the classics. Dispensing anything but the ordinary, Simon Porte Jacquemus' ballsy deconstruction and unflinching maximalism has opened inumerable doors, including an in on Net-a-Porter's exclusive collaborators list.

A nine-piece reduction of the label's signatures, the freshly launched capsule 'Bleu Blanc' — as its name suggests — is mined from the designer's love for blue and white. And unlike a substandard TV sequel, drama is definitely in its DNA. Made for the desk and beyond, cue the summery shirred sleeves, artfully irregular shirting and reworked blazer dresses as the highlights of the collection. But don't discount the quiet elegance of its wool wide-cuff trousers — a guaranteed cornerstone of any #GirlBoss' closet.
