J.W.Anderson's FW17 menswear collection will soon be available as womenswear
He for she
We have lost count of the number of times we said, "I wish that came in women's sizes" every time a beautiful piece of garment appeared on the recent menswear runways. This year, Christmas will come early. Remember the colourful crochet seen during J.W.Anderson's show at London Men's Fashion Week, which showed up on sweaters, bags and scarves? They are available as womenswear, all thanks to luxury e-retailer MATCHESFASHION.COM.
Exclusive for the site, the Irish designer worked closely with MATCHESFASHION.COM to produce a five-piece capsule collection further bridging the menswear-womenswear gap. Anderson, whose female fans have fancied his menswear since its launch in 2008, long before his debut women's line, included in this gender crossing, a coat (with full crocheted sleeves), a cardigan (a navy blue now instead of the tan on LMFW), and a bucket bag adorned with 3D floral appliqué.

The J.W.Anderson x MATCHESFASHION.COM collection will be available from 19 August.
