1. February: Richard Quinn's mic-drop front row for FW18
Queen Elizabeth II (the real one). 'Nuff said.

2. May: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's nuptials
A.k.a., when a Givenchy gown became world news.

3. September: Hedi Slimane's Celine debut
Whether you loved or loathed it, there's no disputing that Celine's SS19 show was the most talked-about of the year.

4. October: The artificial beach for Chanel's SS19 show at the Grand Palais
Everyone and their grandma is trying to deliver immersive experiences these days, but nobody nails it quite like Karl Lagerfeld.

5. November: Ezra Miller's Playboy cover
We salute our new non-binary icon (FYI, in case you're too afraid to ask, Miller uses both he/him and they/them pronouns).

6. November: Dolce & Gabbana's The Great Show scandal
It could have been the year's most talked-about show, except it never happened. *cue sad trombone/wah-wah sound effect*

7. November: Kim Jones's Dior Men show in Tokyo
Unpopular opinion: it's hard for men's fashion shows to compete with women's in the drama/spectacle stakes. This one, however, more than succeeded with its incredible set and demi-Couture craftsmanship.

In case you missed it, catch up on last week.
