#FirstClassFriday: Jimmy Choo made-to-order shoes
Now in Singapore
There's nothing quite like having control over the details of an item you purchase — right down to the fabric, finish and heel height in this case. Jimmy Choo's made-to-order service that was only offered in Asia at their Hong Kong boutiques finally arrives on our shores.
The Anouk, Lance, Xenia and Tite models are available for customisation, with heel height options ranging from the kitten at 50mm, to a daring 120mm. Pick from leather, suede, glitter and crocodile for your base or go all out and with irridescent snakeskin for texture and impact.
But of course, any made-to-order service will not be truly complete without the option of a monogram. Get up to four initials — or a specific date if you're sentimental — discretely positioned on the underside of your shoes. They're perfect for weddings, birthday gifts, or a treat for yourself — you really don't need a reason to personalise a pair of Choos. And as for the gents, think of the insane brownie points you'll score with your lady on a gift like this. That's if you get it right. The real question is, are you game for the challenge?
The Jimmy Choo made-to-order service is available at The Paragon.
