Dunhill’s creative director John Ray has announced his decision to leave the London label after three successful years

It seems like the upheavals in the fashion industry have yet to settle down as John Ray, creative director of Alfred Dunhill for the past three years, has just announced his departure.

The fall/winter 2016 show, held during London Collections: Mens earlier this year, will be Ray's last for the premier gentlemen's label. Parting on amicable terms, Dunhill's CEO Fabrizio Cardinali recognises Ray for his dedication, support and significant contribution during his tenure with the brand. Likewise, the designer is leaving with fond words: "It has been a privilege and a pleasure to work with the iconic Dunhill London brand. I will follow Dunhill with interest as they continue to build on their unique and gentlemanly heritage."
