Dua Lipa scores a job as Puma's new brand ambassador.
The announcement was accompanied by visuals of the Physical singer posing in her Puma gear alongside an ambiguous one-liner hinting at more to come from this collab in 2021. Puma, on the other hand, was more forthright in their statement: Dua Lipa will be heavily featured in the brand's campaigns and initiatives beginning with "She Moves Us", a movement that advocates the empowering and connecting of women "through sport and culture."
Balenciaga drops a spankin' new objet d'art.
This time, it's an exact replica of the brand's Track.2 sneaker — except encased in silver. There'll be more to come in the next few weeks, with the fashion house slated to launch a new line titled Objects come 2021. Intriguing, alright.
Ambush and Beats by Dre have teamed up for an incredible new project.
Citing the streets of Shibuya, Japan, as inspiration, this partnership introduces a pair of striking glow-in-the-dark headphones sported by singer, Burna Boy, who goes on to address the unifying effect of music in the campaign video. We're just psyched we'll never have to hit the torchlight function to locate these bad boys the next time we drop 'em in the cavernous depths of our bags. Rejoice!
The iconic cardigan worn by Harry Styles will be featured in a museum exhibit.
Permanently, we might add. The Victoria & Albert museum requested the piece of knitwear for its permanent collection; a reminder of the lockdown and the knitting craze that was sparked from fans attempting to re-create the JW Anderson design.
Stüssy celebrates its 40th anniversary with a series of collab tees.
Designers that have come in on this include Marc Jacobs, Martine Rose, Virgil Abloh, and Takahiro Miyashita. Dubbed the "World Tour" collection, each shirt reps a different destination, from the bustling streets of L.A. to the bright lights of the Big Apple.
Randi Rham Archive will be up for auction in December.
That's couture gowns worn by celebrities such as Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, and Christina Aguilera. According to Dazed Digital, the haul includes pieces worn in Mariah Carey's iconic We Belong Together music video, with prices ranging from USD$2,000 to USD$4,000. The event will take place live in Beverly Hills and online. Interested parties are to register in advance.
The highly-anticipated Grace Wales Bonner Adidas collection is here.
You might recognise Bonner as the winner of the 2016 LVMH Young Designer Award. Now, you'll get to rock her designs yourself in a new collection with everyone's favourite sportswear label; a collection inspired by Bob Marley, Adidas' extensive archive, as well as the 1970s dancehall. "It was amazing to get into the archive with Adidas and really study how it has been interpreted by different cultures across times," Bonner stated. "I was interested in elevating the familiar and bringing an eveningwear and tailored sensibility to this essential collection." We smell a hit on our hands...
