Artist Brian Donnelly on creating the floral BFF statue for Kim Jones' debut at the French maison, plus the addition of Bobby the dog as tribute to Monsieur Dior

From art installations and a cult collector's item to a central feature at the men's fashion show of the season, it's suffice to say that Kaws has reached critical mass. Nevermind the ongoing buzz about that soon-to-launch Uniqlo collaboration — artist Brian Donnelly's work for Dior Men is, hands down, his most epic foray into the fashion world yet. It saw the Kaws BFF standing 10 metres tall covered head-to-toe in pink peonies and roses, cradling a dog in hand as an homage to Monsieur Dior and his pet, in name of Kim Jones' debut at the maison. Donnelly and Dior reveal the making of (read: 70,000 flowers and 100 people made it possible) in the video above.
