Reworked classics: Cos FW16

Clean sophistication

Cos presents its fall/winter 2016 collection of rethought functionality and everyday decadence

Mention Cos and fiends of the minimalistic trend will be nodding in approval. For FW16, Cos brings the raw and muted aspects of Lynette Yiadom-Boakye's paintings into play. Expect to see colours the likes of dark navy, ochre, burgundy and forest green running through the collection, complete with the cleaned, refined lines the brand favours.

For the ladies, a series of geometric cuts will bring the classics a peppering of excitement. Whether it's an artful crop, or uniquely spliced fabrics, the pieces maintain a multi-dimensional and defined feel. Despite the exaggerated details such as the turtleneck or elongated sleeves, the playful irregularity still offers clean and refined silhouettes in materials such as silk chiffon and buttery leather.

With an emphasis on layering, men will be pleasantly surprised with the range of colours and textures that promise depth to any outfit. Remain cosy in wool high-neck tops and coats or go with a standout flocked check ensemble for a modern look. With a tonal palette that speaks and works with each piece, the items can be combined for a versatile and fully functional look.

The fall/winter 2016 collection will soon be available in Cos boutiques located at Ion Orchard, Raffles City and Westgate.
