Street artists get off the asphalt and into design studios for the sake of fashion

WHiSBE and Jason Naylor might not be names immediately familiar to you, but take it from us, theirs are names to remember henceforth. The former is the godfather of the modern teddy (sorry to those who rather it be Moschino), whose tongue-in-cheek "Vandal Gummy", a gummy bear holding a mugshot board recently invited to the World Trade Center, is a burgeoning New York City icon in its own right. The latter is no wallflower either. Naylor's work is even more explosive than WHiSBE's, especially commercially so — his credits include Saint Laurent, Fenty x Puma and Lululemon. Beauty geeks will recognise his strokes on the M.A.C x Wonder Woman collection.

Lending their street cred to Coach, WHiSBE and Jason Naylor call the shots on the graphics inked on its latest capsule collection. In their creative control, the Coach signature 'C' logo undergoes shrinking, a new paint job and candy infusion — across T-shirts for all genders, hoodies, totes, slides and small leather goods.

Coach Graffiti capsule will be available in stores from 7 July.
