Louis Vuitton names BTS as its latest ambassadors.

It does seem like K-pop boyband BTS is poised for global domination in as many different aspects as possible. The band's latest acquisition is being Louis Vuitton's latest ambassadors. It's been said that the fashion house and BTS have undergone discussions of where and how their partnership could be further enhanced. Artistic director Virgil Abloh has even released a statement: "I am looking forward to this wonderful partnership which adds a modern chapter to the house, merging luxury and contemporary culture. I can’t wait to share all the very exciting projects we are working on."

Blackpink's Rosé adds another brand to her belt.

Next on the list of latest brand ambassadorships is Rosé. The member of K-pop girlband Blackpink has officially been named Tiffany & Co.'s global ambassador. This means that to date, Rosé has two global ambassadorships to her name — her first being the global ambassador for Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello since 2020. Now, how you like that?

Saint Laurent announces its autumn/winter 2021 womenswear collection reveal.

Talking about Saint Laurent, the Parisian fashion house has just announced its next reveal date for the autumn/winter 2021 womenswear season. While there's no official word on the format or setting of the reveal, we can pretty much be sure that it'll be in line with how Saint Laurent has been presenting its collections since the pandemic. Based on teasers released, it does look to be a short film set in a tundra. But all will be revealed this Wednesday, 28 April at 8pm Singapore time.

Apple's latest collaboration with Hermès.

Almost every Apple Keynote presentation since the announcement of the Apple Watch has had a mention of exclusive Hermès accessories to go with the smartwatch. The latest presentation — where a new device was announced — marked the first time that Hermès's partnership with Apple has moved away from just the Apple Watch. This includes a series of leather tags designed to house the all new Apple AirTag, as well as leather MagSafe cases for the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro.

Over 230 brands have been certified 'Climate Neutral'.

Independent nonprofit Climate Neutral — an organisation that provides climate neutral certification for businesses — has announced that over 230 brands have completed the necessary steps to be considered Climate Neutral Certified. This means that the brands now have to implement their plans in offsetting their emissions and reduced their carbon footprints in the next one to two years. Fashion brands that have been certified include Nicholas Kirkwood and Keeper Denim.

BOSS's first fashion collaboration launches in Singapore.

While BOSS has collaborated with various artists and non-fashion brands, the German brand has never before partnered up with another fashion brand; that is until BOSS x Russell Athletic. The collaboration sees BOSS take on a sportier approach to fashion with the assist of an iconic American sportswear brand. A huge bulk of the collection is made up of tracksuits and varsity jumpers, with BOSS tailoring reworked in a more casual slant.

Gucci presents a talk show hosted by James Corden.

As part of its Gucci Beloved line (a selection of the house's iconic bags) campaign, Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele conjured up a late-night talk show called Gucci Beloved. The talk show, hosted by James Corden, features appearances by Awkwafina, Harry Styles, Sienna Miller, Dakota Johnson, Diane Keaton, and Serena Williams, as they talk about their latest exploits and their beloved (Gucci) bags.

Berluti loses an artistic director.

After three years as the artistic director at Berluti, Kris Van Assche has announced that he's parting ways with the brand. While no official word has come out yet about his next move, Berluti has reportedly said that it would be adopting a less structured approach to presentations. The autumn/winter 2021 collection that was just presented digitally on 8 April is Van Assche last contribution to the brand.
