Facing the coronavirus crisis head-on has propelled many businesses into the digital realm. And luxury fashion brands are no exception. Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta, has launched a multi-platform virtual residency that — in the words of creative director Daniel Lee — stimulate 'creativity and strength' and 'ignite a sense of joy and hope' amid COVID-19 uncertainty.
So, what can you expect from Bottega Residency? From writers and musicians to film directors and performers, Bottega Residency spotlights on talented artists through the eyes of another. Contributors include gifted photographer and filmmaker Tyrone Leo, freelance editor Max Pearmain, and stylist Marie Chaix, who have introduced audiences to their favourite books, artists, recipes, films, music, photographs, and more.
The latest to make an appearance is homegrown pastry chef Janice Wong, former protégé of some of the best in the culinary world like Thomas Keller, Grant Achatz, Oriol Balaguer, and Pierre Hermé, who has shared the recipe of one of her signature creations, the Chocolate Paint.
