Love it or hate it, athleisure is going from strength to strength

Sports-inspired garments have really built up a stronghold in the landscape of fashion. We peg its resurgence to the potent fitness bug of the last half decade or so, prompting city denizens the world over to seek out healthier and more active lifestyles. Remember the likes of Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid dominating the Internet in cropped jumpers or unzipped hoodies lazily thrown over sports bra and leggings?

Their persistent endorsements and our shifting rituals set the stage for the old school sports get-up — tracksuits and windbreakers in style of the '90s rappers — to go mainstream. Cue: Adidas Originals turning to their archives to reissue their '70s line, adicolor. Dare we say, the OG of athleisure. The range's primary hues are nothing short of iconic, with Bluebird, Fairway Green, Scarlett Red and Sun Yellow the four shades selected for a rousing return, splashed on track jackets, track pants, windbreakers, hoodies, jumpers, T-shirts and more.
