78th Golden Globe Awards red carpet: All the best looks by Emma Corrin, Anya Taylor-Joy, and more
Virtual and physical bests
The ongoing pandemic may have delayed the start of this year's award show season, but it had little effect on the hype and grandeur of the 78th Golden Globe Awards. While this year's affair was purely virtual, presenters and nominees had no qualms in making sure that their presence — either physically at The Beverly Hilton or virtually from home — was coupled with a fashionable impact.
The Crown's Emma Corrin and Josh O'Connor both took home an award each for 'Best Performance in a Television Series – Drama', and also flexed some serious style muscles in Miu Miu and Loewe respectively. The same could be said of Anya Taylor-Joy who looked devastatingly chic in Christian Dior while taking home the 'Best Performance in a Miniseries or Television Film' award for her role in Netflix's The Queen's Gambit. And then there was nominee Dan Levy who premiered a men's look from the recent Valentino Haute Couture runway presentation; no wins but looked every bit like one.
