Levi's wants you to have the perfect slim-cut jeans this fall
Denim done right
Any man is as good as his jeans. Like the trending wide-leg fit — where a single misstep will risk you vibing Backstreet Boys circa the '00s — the staple slim-cut denim is an ace in hand when mastered down pat, but a sartorial misfortune otherwise. As any rock legend will attest (that fitted silhouette on Iggy Pop or Kurt Cobain did not occur by happenstance), the 'one cut fits all' approach with jeans is an urban myth.
Which is why Levi's, the original denim maestro has not one, not two, but three tapered-cut jean types in its fall collection for the man after a tighter fit; the models almost identical to the naked eye with differences that manifest when worn.
The iconic 501 Original's tapered fit (501 T) are for those loyal to the button-fly style but after a leaner, longer silhouette, while the 512 Slim Taper is the skinnier cousin to the 511 Slim. Completing the trio is the 502 Regular Taper that is more forgiving on the thighs — one we'll recommend to gents who take their leg days seriously. See how they fit, below.
The Tapered Jeans for Men collection come in both stretch and non-stretch denim. Available at Levi's stores in Singapore from 4 September. See all outlets.
