Duxton menswear from Singapore: New summer-ready printed shirts and tees to add to your collection
City boys
If the folks at Snickers are to be believed, we're not ourselves when we're hungry. If you ask entrepreneurial duo Dustin Ramos and Iris Sangalang — the owners of Monument Lifestyle, that SoCal cafe on 75 Duxton Road — they'd probably say that you're not yourself unless you're comfortable. Like, really really comfortable; a chorus their menswear arm Duxton, retailing under its F&B roof along with other lifestyle offerings, has sung time and time again.
From 28 to 31 March, they're uprooting their #ownyourtrueself mantra (est. 2018), albeit momentarily, to the bi-annual Boutiques Fair taking place at the F1 Pit Building. In tow, Duxton's spring/summer collection of printed cotton shirts and vibrant tees, each taken after the vibes and vibrancy of New York boroughs, namely Williamsburg, Harlem, East Village, and Rockaway Beach. As with their past releases, Duxton's knit fabrics are made in Los Angeles, while their woven counterparts are sourced from Japan.
Talk about worlds colliding.
