In a Buro exclusive, we learn that this stylish Kazakh native is ready to start a Central Asian style evolution

Even if you don't know her name, we're pretty sure you've seen her (alongside Miroslava Duma) outside the shows during fashion week. Often snapped by street style photographers for her understated yet effortless style, Meruyert Ibragim is the founder of Buro 24/7 Kazakhstan.

Ibragim started Buro with one big goal in mind: To introduce the world to Kazakhstan's fashion scene and vice versa. While Central Asia may be under-the-radar, her presence at fashion week with her notable ensembles has made many (like ourselves) sit up and take notice. And judging from her 30.2K Instagram followers, Ibragim is set to pave the way for many Central Asian beauties to come. Here we find out Ibragim style secrets and why she absolutely hates Birkenstocks.

It's hard to describe my personal style as it's always changing. I was once told my style is Asian boho, but I think how I dress is really dependent on my mood and a mix of various things.

My biggest style inspirations are Caroline de Maigret, Ines de la Fressange, Manuela Pavesi and Tilda Swinton. They represent strength, intelligence and beauty. They don't try to hard to look stylish nor do they follow trends. It's also their inner beauty and confidence that makes them stand out. Their personal style is a complement to who they truly are.

I admire women who look effortlessly stylish in every day basics. My go-to pieces for any occasion are grey jeans, a Breton top and sneakers. I love how these items can be dressed up with ease and given a sophisticated spin when needed by just throwing a jacket over your shoulders and swapping the sneakers to heels.

I would love to watch how Jenna Lyons pairs her outfits together. She has a knack for mixing things up. I wish I could raid her wardrobe and see what she owns in person.

Paris is great for shopping. The amazing boutiques and selections coupled with the language, food and atmosphere make it an overall great experience. There's just something magical about that city.

The LBD is yesterday's wardrobe essential. I think a perfectly fit boyfriend jeans is today's go-to piece albeit the difficulty in finding the right one.

My best summer buy is the No°21 lace slip-ons. It's been a really hot summer and I needed shoes that were flat, comfortable yet stylish.

I think Birkenstocks are overrated. They don't make a woman's feet look feminine.

I'm obsessed with oversized coats. My eyes were fixated on the coats presented at every fall/winter 2015 runway show. I love how this season's cut is long and feminine. The Burberry cashmere office coat is currently on my FW15 wish list.
