Surprising moment #1: So many Fendi show-goers wore the label to the runway presentation. We spotted three ladies in the caped tartan fall/winter 2018 dress at our seating section alone.

Surprising moment #2: Gigi Hadid and Jeremy Scott had a very public phone call. “There are no clothes here!” exclaimed the model backstage. Turns out it’s a ruse, a prelude to Moschino’s “unfinished” but-I-only-have-sketches SS19 collection.

Trendy accessory #1: Electricians, mechanics and soldiers would probably give their seal of approval to this functional Fendi Peekaboo bag, carried by Gigi Hadid.

Trendy accessory #2: Don’t mistake the headband renaissance by Prada for prim or proper. Only Blair Waldorf’s nemesis would dream of one of these studded babies.

Trendy accessory #3: Sheer knee-high stockings, sheer gloves... we are definitely spotting a trend here at Prada, alluded to earlier at Max Mara.

Trendy accessory #4: Few accessories will be as iconic (and as widely debated) as the Moschino wide-brimmed hat this season, a compliment the label has received plenty of times since designer Jeremy Scott revived its name.

Favourite look #1: And just like that, white shirt-dress will never be the same again. Elevated from their basic status, Fendi’s Sunday staple is souped up with a peplum neckline and skirt, plus a gathered waist with a vertical zip.

Favourite look #2: A tiered Fendi dress kicks the ‘70s up a notch when rendered in foil-like fabric and paired with too-cool-for-you mini cat-eye glasses. Don’t forget them high-cut pumps, probably taken out of a page from the Elizabethan era.

Favourite look #3: Embellished and printed Bermuda shorts with wild sunglasses, satin headbands, mini croc skin bag, doll stockings and metallic pumps. Nothing makes sense here but by Prada's definition, everything does.

Favourite look #4: Only Mrs Prada can make an all-satin outfit sporty. Oh and those Star Trek violet sandals? TDF.

Favourite look #5: Graffiti? So 2018. Scribbles however is poised to becoming the graphic of 2019. The credit shall go to Moschino.

Favourite look #6: There’s no competition. In the case of models versus mannequin, the living body will always come out on top, flaws and all — a concept Moschino illustrated brilliantly by dressing this model in Moschino-branded mannequin hemp.

Favourite look #7: Of the 93 'greige' looks Emporio Armani sent out at Milan’s Linate airport (yes, we had to check-in) the silk corsetry with athletic undertones takes the cake, especially when worn with sailor-sweatpants.
