Wardrobe wishlist: What the Buro fashion team really wants for 2017
Norman Tan, editor-in-chief
All I want for 2017 is... to win the lottery and be a multi-millionaire. I don't think this is unreasonable. I'm not being greedy and asking to be a billionaire. I just need a few million to drop it like it's hot when I visit Milan and Paris for the shows. There is just so much I want. So much I need. Heaven help me.
On my lust list: It's a toss up between the Cartier Juste un Clou (in white gold and sans diamonds cos I'm not that loud peeps, believe it) or the Hermès Cape Cod watch (29mm with a double tour strap in black matte alligator and a double tour strap in natural Barenia calfskin, because the straps are interchangeable now!). But, let's be real. I'm going to get both... eventually. Think about how sweet they will look stacked together. So that, and also all the clothes below. Thanks.

All I want for 2017 is... more classic staples but with an unexpected twist. Anyone who knows me knows that I champion practicality when making sartorial purchases. I'm not talking just wardrobe staples with clean cuts, especially not the ones that make you blend in. I'm looking at style essentials that has evolved over time (think: innovative shapes, silhouettes and fabrics) that will remain a classic throughout time.
On my lust list: A multifunctional utility suit from Marni, a playful update on a stripe shirt from Self-Portrait, and statement accessories from Attico.

All I want for 2017 is... to break out of my style mould. Clichéd? Yes, but I'm not talking about a 180 change. Instead, I'll be taking my undying love for prints and patterns and simply parlaying that into bolder choices. You say fashion loudhailer, I say no harm having a little fun with a myriad of sartorial characters.
On my lust list: A bangin '80s statement suit, a Victorian-inspired party frock and some superhero worthy metallics for that extra power up. Boom.
