The house’s signature shark motif returns this season. This time around, it’s integrated into the label’s newest bag

If there is one thing Riccardo Tisci knows all too well, is that the little details matter. The shark motif has become the house's signature since its inception in spring/summer 2012. A collection inspired by the ocean, its inhabitants and mythological creatures, it was namely the oversized shark tooth necklace and turn-lock clasps that sealed the savage motif as the brand's key insignia.

The shark tooth has appeared on everything from sandals to accessories, and now makes its mark on the latest bag to join the Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci's leather goods family — the Shark.

First unveiled in pre-fall 2015, the Shark's structured shape and clean, sharp lines makes for a timeless and modern carryall. With its oversized flap, generous length of a top handle and removable strap, the Shark is one functional and work-appropriate satchel. With its shark tooth clasp, we think this is a fiercely subtle addition to any working women's wardrobe.
