Kate Spade is back: Nicola Glass's colourful debut spring collection is giving us major cravings
Light up your life
Kate Spade has always stood for a specific brand of kooky-but-attainable American ease, and creative director Nicola Glass's debut for the label is bringing its signature values to the fore. There's an abundance of joyous colour and pattern, and spade motifs pop up not just in hardware for bags and in jewellery, but also on printed scarves and ready-to-wear. Glass even roped Tim Walker into returning for the brand's spring/summer 2019 campaign, marking the beloved photographer's first collaboration with the company since his creative work from the early 2000s. The world could always use a little more optimism and fun, and we're glad Kate Spade's playful spirit is back and better than ever.
