Heaven sent: The Gucci Dionysus bag
This is where your next investment's at — go Greek with the must-have It-bag of the season from Gucci

The universe of bags has reached a higher plane in standards and it is one that is celestial. This FW15, the Gucci Dionysus took inspiration from the namesake Greek god himself, and already looks to be the bag on everyone's wishlist.

A stately double tiger-head closure fronts the bag, the design a reference to the myth wherein Dionysus is said to have transformed into a tiger to carry a nymph named Tigris across the river. For those of you who aren't as familiar with the tale, there are plenty of other reasons to fall in love with the Dionysus.

For one, the bag features the GG supreme print, the brand's contemporary take on logomania and a number of materials such as rich suede, python and crocodile. The most elaborate and covet-worthy version however, is the one embroidered with a bee, hand-stitched with thinly-cut brass encased in silk. As we can only imagine what the detailed motifs and bright pops of suede will do for our outfits, we're definitely imploring the fashion gods for a piece of that arm candy.
