Our five favourite looks from Beyond the Vines pre-fall 2016
Just one year old, Beyond the Vines has amassed a cult-like following of modern-day girls who are in seek of effortless wardrobe essentials. Seamlessly stylish separates and dresses in quiet undertones are the go-to staples for this budding Singapore label. For pre-fall 2016, the label has taken a stroll through nature — taking inspiration from organic landscapes and translating them into garments with a relaxed, lived-in look.
The latest collection unveils new styles: Two-piece pant combinations, cocoon dresses, and pleated midi skirts make their debut and promise to excite. The label's celebrated classics, such as the panelled and tricolour dresses, are reintroduced in a fresh medley of natural potpourri tones (think: mauve, pine green, monaco blue, terracotta and ivory). And, as always, fluidity runs through collection with the use of silk blends and lightweight linens — creating the label's signature soft textures and unruffled layers.
Staying true to its roots, Beyond the Vines keeps each look minimally elegant. Here are five of our favourites:
