6 fashion buyers and insiders you've got to follow on Instagram
Double tap that
At risk of sounding like a millennial who scrolls through the 'gram before a morning wee, the social media app has become such a port of call, amongst other mediums, for our daily fashion bulletin. How else would we get wind of Calvin Klein's made-to-measure line under Raf Simons, of which the brand broke news first on Instagram? Or Uniqlo's upcoming collaboration with Kaws spotted on artist Brian Donnelly's daughter who was featured "testing the product" on his handle? ICYMI, all you need to know about last week.
But we digress. In matters of under-the-radar labels soon to take off (which means, an imminent launch on the likes of Net-a-Porter), the season's latest clothing, bags, and footwear getting their retail drop and, trends about to set sail, there are but a handful of insiders who get it spot on. Plus, have it detailed on their accounts. You might have to read between the lines but hey, it's all there. Word of advice: skip leg day, but not the IG stories and image tags.
